Every team and individual in our community can stand and say that they are accountable for the growth in our community. Even those of you who tried your hardest to not be involved. We have journeyed through the valley low and are now attempting to reach peak of Everest with everything we need. What are the things you need to expand your growth? Hope, love, passion, determination, acceptation, and love. You can hold each of things in your heart and never let them go. The moment when you feel like you have nothing left to give just give your heart a warm embrace and i am sure those 6 things will prevail and help you succeed. I, Ricardo Davis, would love to thank everyone for all the support we have been getting lately. It has indeed furthered our growth. Just like Tinkerbell having people that believe in you could do amazing things to you. It could rejuvenate life in the catacombs of defeat. After watching some old videos from when Nerdz first started two years ago I saw felt the moment when I felt like giving up. I relived those moments of defeat. Those moments when I felt like I let my community down. Or the moment when I thought I was did all I can to help but ended being bashed, ridiculed, and thrown in a dungeon. Though through it all I just gave this ole’ heart of mine a long embrace got back on my feet and continued to believe. My belief and yours is what made this community grow. That same belief is what will make this community flourish through the hearts of people that seek for inspiration.

PS: When I look for inspiration I do not look to California or the rest of the West Coast, I do not look at thriving companies like Movement Lifestyle or even one of my favorite teams Mischief Makers, and I also do not look for who is the most famous dancer that everyone likes. I simply look at my local community in and outside of the competition circuit and feast off of your love and passion. That is what inspires me. <3 I really do wish the best for every individual in this community. I know we have all heard the word “LIVE” throughout the dance scene well… Live Longer <3

MEET CHARLES
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Chux grew up outside the city in a small town in south Jersey called Blackwood. He has been dancing since he was a pre-teen in grade school with his close friends, but it wasn’t until his freshman year of college at Rutgers University in 2004 that he was introduced to the Urban Dance Community. He joined FR3SH and was a member for 2 years, including serving as Assistant Director for a year. Chux was also a member of RAPS Dance Troupe (RDT) for a short period of time in the Spring of 2006. Despite having to leave FR3SH a few months later due to personal reasons, he kept dancing as much as he could by taking classes and choreographing for cotillions and local shows. Then in early 2009, him and his friends started their own team: iNSPIRED!. That summer he was also hired by a local dance studio, Serova School of Dance, to teach hip-hop classes to kids ranging from ages 6-17. In the Fall of 2010, wanting to further increase his training as a dancer, he once again joined RDT and was a member for a full season.

Chux always talks about the love he has for his iNSPIRED! Family and devotes his whole life to them. For him, iNSPIRED! is his number one priority and his future as he continues to pursue his dream of having his own studio. Dancing isn’t just a temporary hobby for him, but a life passion. It’s his way of expressing himself in ways that his own words cannot. His experiences as a dancer have taught him many things, but he never stays complacent and always looks to improve in his art. One of the things he enjoys most about dancing is teaching others and passing down everything he has learned. At the same time he also believes in the importance of learning from others because in his eyes, everyone in the dance community has something to offer. His main goal, as a dancer and as a person, is to hopefully inspire other people to be the best that they can be in any and every aspect of their lives, and he carries that philosophy to iNSPIRED!.

I have been wanting to do this for the longest. I mean we attempted to do it with The Debate Movement but a few people actually came out. Although we still had a great deal of fun getting to know one another. I met so new friends and sure everyone else did too. Though I want to have another. A DANCE COMMUNITY COOKOUT! Hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken burgers, veggie burgers, potatoe chips, soda, juice, and everything else. Shit a kick ball, football, and volleyball even. I think it would be the dopest experience. No competition just straight up fun. Just one day! <3 I would love that! <3 <3 <3 CAN SOMEONE MAKE THIS HAPPEN!

The last day of March Madness (MM) The Spring Workshop Series is here!!! Tuesday of next will conclude the MM series. It has been an interesting workshop series. We’ve been rushed out, canceled, and other random mishaps but we still pulled through and had really good classes taught by amazing teachers. However, our final workshops will conclude with Alice Wu hailing VEN15 and Raps Dance Troupe and Ricardo Davis the founder of Nerdz and a member of Raps Dance Troupe. Don’t miss the last class of the series. Remember the class starts at 4:30PM. Thanks again everyone for coming and being a part of the serious. Especially the teachers.
